Burrito is a national Mexican dish, which is thin wheat cakes with various fillings. Traditionally, they are served with a hot sauce for tequila or beer.
It is necessary
- - 10 wheat cakes (tortillas);
- - 400 g minced meat;
- - 100 g of canned corn;
- - 100 g of canned red beans;
- - 1 red bell pepper;
- - 1/2 teaspoon of Tabasco;
- - 150 g of cheddar cheese;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of tomato paste;
- - 3 cloves of garlic;
- - onion head;
- - olive oil;
- - salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Fry the finely chopped onion in olive oil, then add the minced meat and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat. Place chopped garlic, julienned bell peppers, tomato paste, beans and corn in a skillet. Add salt and tabasco. Stir and simmer for another 10 minutes.
Step 2
Sprinkle the grated cheese over the tortillas and top with the cooked meat filling. Wrap the tortillas thoroughly and grill for 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
Serve ready-made burritos hot. You can make salsa as a sauce. To do this, combine the peeled tomatoes, garlic, herbs, chili peppers, salt and olive oil in a blender.
