Burrito is a Mexican dish. Its constituent parts are tortilla (corn tortilla) and filling. There are different fillings: meat, vegetable, salad mixes. Mexico is the home of legumes, fried with spices and seasonings, adding other vegetables, and wrapped in a tortilla. They are baked in the oven, and sometimes in fat. In our country, burritos are often prepared from more affordable products, and the dish turns out to be no less tasty. The filling of legumes, beef, bell pepper, avocado and cheese will be tasty and nutritious.

It is necessary

  • - tortillas 6 pcs.;
  • - beef 500 g;
  • - Bulgarian pepper 200 g;
  • - frozen corn 200 g;
  • - peas or beans frozen 200 g;
  • -avocado 150 g;
  • - leeks 100 g;
  • - cheese 200 g;
  • - sour cream 150 g;
  • - cream 10% 50 g;
  • - broth 150 g;
  • - olive oil for frying;
  • - basil or garlic to taste;
  • - ground black pepper to taste;
  • -salt to taste;
  • - chili peppers to taste.
  • Meat grinder or food processor, small kitchen utensils (knives, containers, cutting boards).

Step 1

First, the beef must be separated from bones, films and veins. Then it needs to be chopped into minced meat and fried in olive oil. When the fried meat cools down, you will need to salt it, add some seasonings and spices.

Cut the Bulgarian pepper into cubes and sauté. Defrost peas or beans, corn and fry all together. Cut the avocado in the same way as the pepper - into cubes, cut the leeks into rings or chop into strips, then fry the products. Fry all products in olive oil. Mix sour cream with broth or water. When the onions and avocados are sufficiently fried, you can add a mixture of water and sour cream and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Grate the cheese with small holes. Wait until all fried foods have cooled down. Then they need to be combined together, adding cheese, stirring gently.

Step 4

Wrap the prepared filling in tortillas. To do this, put the minced meat weighing about 300 g on the edge of the tortilla and wrap it, gently pressing, so that it can be evenly distributed over the entire diameter of the cake. Place the rolls on a baking sheet. Then the top of the prepared burritos should be greased with cream. Bake at 180-200C for 15-20 minutes.
