An easy-to-prepare and delicious pie in which the sourness of the berries goes well with the spicy note of cinnamon. Strawberries can be used both fresh and frozen.

- - 3/4 cup sugar;
- - 90 g butter;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of warm milk;
- - 1 1/2 tsp baking powder;
- - 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon;
- - 1/4 teaspoon of salt;
- - fresh or frozen strawberries.

Sift the flour through a kitchen sieve, mix with ground cinnamon, baking powder and salt.

Remove the butter from the refrigerator and leave at room temperature for a while to soften. Add granulated sugar and grind until white. Stir in eggs and milk, whisk.

Add flour mixture and stir. If the dough is too thick, then you can pour a little milk into it.

Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil or cover with oiled parchment paper. Place the dough on top and smooth with a spatula. Defrost the berries. Cut each in half and place the strawberries on top of the dough. Press each berry lightly into the dough.

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C, place the cake tin in there and bake for about 30 minutes. Check doneness with a wooden toothpick or skewer.

Remove the cake from the oven, let it cool slightly and remove from the mold. If you've used baking paper, this will be easier. Cut the pie into pieces and serve. You can add whipped cream to the dessert.
