- - 4 diced chicken breast fillets
- For sweet and sour sauce:
- - 1 onion, chopped
- - 1 red and 1 green bell peppers (chopped)
- - 1 tbsp. l. starch
- - 6 tbsp. l. orange juice
- - 2 tbsp. l. ketchup
- - 2 tbsp. l. soy sauce
- - 1 tbsp. l. white wine vinegar
Instructions
Step 1
Mix egg yolks with starch and 1 tablespoon of water; salt and pepper.
Step 2
Heat oil in a saucepan, wok, or deep skillet. Place the chicken in the egg mixture, stir. Fry in portions until golden and crispy. Pat dry on paper towels.
Step 3
Fry onions and peppers in another skillet for 2-3 minutes. Dissolve the starch in orange juice, then add ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar and 250 ml water. Pour onion and peppers and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring occasionally, until thick. Add chicken and cook for another 5 minutes.
