Add salt, egg yolks and sugar to the diluted yeast. Whisk the mass. Transfer warm butter to a bowl of yeast and stir.

Pour the resulting yeast mass into a bowl of flour. Knead the dough. The yeast dough should be elastic and of the correct consistency. Cover the kneaded dough with a towel and remove for 40-45 minutes to rise to a warm place. After the specified time, the dough should increase in volume by at least 2 times.

Sprinkle the surface of the table or a special large board with flour. Roll out the dough on this surface. You do not need to roll it thinly. The dough should be at least 1 cm thick. Cut out the donuts. This can be done with a knife, special molds or glass edges. Leave the donuts on the board for another half hour.

Heat the oil. Fry the donuts on both sides until golden brown. To remove excess oil, ready-made donuts can be laid out on paper napkins after frying.

Donuts with cottage cheese

Many people prefer to cook curd donuts without adding yeast to the dough. However, the yeast version of the dough makes these baked goods more fluffy and fluffy.

For cooking you will need:

- medium fat cottage cheese - 200-300 g;

- flour - 400 g;

- butter - 30-40 g;

- egg - 1 pc.;

- salt - to taste;

- milk - 150 ml;

- sugar - 2 tablespoons;

- dry yeast - 1 tsp;

- vegetable oil.

Dissolve dry yeast in warmed milk, add sugar, mix. Transfer the mass to heat for 10 minutes. Pour flour into a bowl. Pour cottage cheese, salt, egg into flour. Stir the dough until smooth and lump-free.

Melt and refrigerate the butter. Pour it into a bowl of curd. Add yeast mass. Add the correct amount of flour as needed. Knead the dough. The resulting dough should be sticky and soft. Transfer the dough, covered with a towel or plastic wrap, to a warm place for 1 hour. Form the dough into small balls and fry them in hot oil until a beautiful golden brown. Serve the donuts sprinkled with icing sugar.
