- -1 egg
- -1 glass of whole milk (alternatively, you can use 2% milk)
- -1 tablespoon butter

Instructions
Step 1
In a large bowl or mixer, thoroughly mix 4 cups of premium flour, 1 tsp. cinnamon (optional), 3 tablespoons of baking powder, 2 teaspoons of baking soda, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 ½ teaspoon of kosher salt. Transfer all of the mixed ingredients to the refrigerator and cool for 2-3 hours.
Step 2
Remove the bowl from the refrigerator and add the egg, whole milk, and 1 tablespoon of butter. You should have a slurry for making waffles.
Step 3
Melt some butter in a waffle iron. Pour about one cup of batter into a baking dish and cook the waffles for 2 to 3 minutes (until the waffles are golden brown).
Step 4
Waffles can be garnished with fruit puree or fruit pieces. Drizzle maple syrup over a dish before serving. Bon Appetit!
