These cookies are so tasty and aromatic that they can even serve as a lovely gift for a dear person!
It is necessary
- - 300 g butter;
- - 300 g brown sugar;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 450 g flour;
- - 14 tablespoons maple syrup;
- - a pinch of vanillin;
- - 160 g pecans.
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance, chop into small cubes with a knife and let soften at room temperature. Then, using a mixer, beat the butter with the addition of sugar and 6 tbsp. maple syrup into a fluffy creamy mass. Add a pinch of vanillin to the mixer bowl and two eggs in turn, whisking the mixture thoroughly each time.
Step 2
Chop the pecans into medium crumbs with a knife. Sift the flour into a deep container and mix with the nuts.
Step 3
Pour in the mixture of liquid dough ingredients to dry and knead the dough. Roll it into a 5 cm thick sausage and wrap it in plastic wrap. Put in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet: grease it with oil or line it with parchment (baking) paper.
Step 5
Take out the chilled dough, unfold and cut into finger-thick cookies. Put the pieces on a baking sheet, brush with the remaining maple syrup with a silicone brush and place in the oven for about 12 minutes until light golden brown. Cool the finished baked goods on a baking sheet first, and then transfer to the wire rack until they cool completely.
