It is necessary

  • For the test:
  • 650 grams of wheat flour,
  • 400 ml of water,
  • 15 grams of salt
  • 150 grams of butter.
  • For filling:
  • 600 grams of minced meat,
  • 400 grams of onions,
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste.
  • 1 egg to grease the samsa.

Instructions

Step 1

Sift flour into a bowl. Pour water into another bowl, dilute salt. Stir the sifted flour into salted water, knead the dough. Knead the dough until smooth. Wrap in a bag (you can take cling film) and leave aside for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Cooking the filling. Cut the peeled onion into medium cubes. Mix onion with minced meat, season with ground black pepper and salt, mix well, tamp and set aside for 20 minutes.

Step 3

After half an hour of resting the dough, melt the butter and cool. Divide the dough into four parts. Roll out each part as thin as possible (about 2 mm). We coat each layer with butter and put it in a pile. We roll it into a roll.

Step 4

Cut the dough roll into four parts, crush it a little, wrap it in a bag and put it in the freezer for an hour.

Step 5

After an hour, divide the dough into 20 pieces. We roll out each part. Put a spoonful of minced meat on the cake and roll it into samsa.

We cover the baking sheet with a sheet of parchment, on which we shift the samsa. Lubricate the top with a slightly beaten egg.

We heat the oven to 200 degrees. We bake samsa for no more than 25 minutes. Cool and serve
