It is necessary
- For pancakes:
- - potatoes 6 pieces;
- - chicken egg 2 pcs.;
- - flour 0.5 cups;
- - milk 0.5 cups;
- - vegetable oil for frying;
- - salt;
- - sugar.
- For nut herring:
- - herring 1 pc.;
- - chicken egg 1 pc.;
- - green apple 1 pc.;
- - onion 1 pc.;
- - walnuts 50 g.
Instructions
Step 1
Cooking potato pancakes. Peel the potatoes, grate, then squeeze out excess juice. Pour warm milk over potatoes, add salt and sugar to it and stir. Then add eggs and flour and mix too. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and bake potato pancakes, frying them on both sides.
Step 2
Cooking nut herring. Peel the herring, gut and separate from the bones. Boil and peel one chicken egg. Peel and cut the apple in half, separate the core. Pass the herring, nuts, egg and apple through a meat grinder and beat until fluffy.
Step 3
Serve the pancakes on a platter and the nut herring in a salad bowl. Decorate everything with dill sprigs and onion rings.
