You can make your own coarse bread. This will require the following components:
- 380 ml of water;
- 10 g of salt;
- 15 g of yeast;
- 10 ml of vegetable oil;
- 10 g of sugar;
- 150 g of wholemeal flour;
- 150 g of wheat flour.
Preparation
First of all, you need to mix 2 types of flour - coarse grinding and premium wheat. It is better to combine them in one cup, and then sift them into another dish. Thanks to this action, it will be possible to get rid of lumps and debris, and the flour will also be saturated with oxygen, which will give the bread a more porous texture. Then dry yeast, salt, sugar and vegetable oil are added to a bowl of flour. All ingredients must be mixed well with a tablespoon in order to end up with a uniform consistency.
Then warm water is poured into the mass. Then knead the mixture well with a wooden spoon until it is steep. Further kneading should be continued with your hands. The dough will need to be kneaded until smooth and no longer sticking to your hands. As a result, it should turn out to be quite elastic and elastic. After that, the dough is transferred to a bowl, greased with vegetable oil in advance, and covered with a towel. In a warm place, it should stand for about 2 hours.
Bakery products
After 2 hours, the dough should approximately double. It needs to be wrinkled with your hands to remove excess carbon dioxide. Then the dough should be transferred to the table and formed into a loaf. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and put the future bread into it. Then he is covered with a towel and sent to a warm place for 40 minutes. During this period of time, the dough will fit again.
The oven can now be preheated to 200 ° C. Put a baking sheet with boiling water in the bottom of the oven. Then a baking sheet with bread is placed on top. It is baked for 20 minutes. After that, open the oven door and brush the top of the bread with salt water several times with a pastry brush. The result is a golden brown crust.
Then you need to get a baking sheet with water from the oven and reduce the temperature in it to 180 ° C. The bread should be baked for another 20 minutes. The readiness of the product should be checked with a wooden toothpick. If it turns out to be dry, then you can safely pull out the bread. Put it on a wire rack and let it cool down.
