Ingredients:

  • Butter - 250 g;

  • Flour - 1, 5-2 cups.

Preparation:

  1. In softened or grated butter, gradually add sifted flour, as much as the butter takes, until an oily crumb is formed. The dough must be kneaded with your hands until the mixture turns into crumbs.
  2. Put the cottage cheese in a deep bowl and mash it with a fork. Then break chicken eggs into mashed curd, add quicklime soda on the tip of a knife and add one and a half cups of sugar. Sugar can be added at will, more or vice versa less, depending on tastes and preferences.
  3. Also, for variations, you can add pre-washed and steamed raisins, berries of currants, cranberries or cherries, chopped kernels of walnuts or other nuts to the curd mixture.
  4. Beat the mixture well with a mixer or whisk until smooth.
  5. On a baking sheet with sufficiently high sides, put half of the finished dough - crumbs. Put the curd mass on top and cover with the remaining half of the butter crumbs. In the oven, preheated to 180 grams, put the pie on a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes, until it is browned.
  6. Decorate the top of the pie with powdered sugar and fresh berries or pieces of fruit.

You can serve this cake with jam, berry jam or sour cream.
