For lovers of puff pastry dishes, there is a wonderful recipe for unsweetened pie with cottage cheese, tomatoes and herbs. This pie can be served as a separate dish, or as a dessert.
It is necessary
- - 500 g of puff pastry;
- - 450 g of low-fat cottage cheese;
- - 200 ml sour cream;
- - 2 pcs. chicken eggs;
- - 6 pcs. medium red tomatoes;
- - 10 g of olive oil;
- - 100 g of dill greens;
- - 100 g of parsley;
- - 5 g of salt;
- - 5 g of black ground pepper;
- - 5 g of sugar;
- - 5 g dry thyme;
- - 20 g of dried basil.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a large ceramic mortar and crush some sugar in it, add the dried basil leaves and grind as fine as possible. Gradually add salt, black pepper, dry thyme and stir very well and heat. Pour the resulting spice mixture into a clean, dry cup or large salt shaker and close tightly.
Step 2
Wash the tomatoes well in cold water, dry and cut into thin slices. Spread parchment paper on a baking sheet, arrange the tomatoes so that they do not overlap, and sprinkle a little with the resulting spicy mixture, pour with olive oil. Place the bake on a low temperature in the oven. Finely chop the finished tomatoes.
Step 3
Beat cottage cheese with eggs in a blender on maximum speed, about 3-5 minutes. Add finely chopped greens. Season with salt and stir, add sour cream and stir again.
Step 4
Roll out the puff pastry thinly and cut into several equal pieces. Put a layer of dough, a layer of cottage cheese, tomatoes, and again the dough in a baking dish. And so several layers. Sprinkle the spice mixture on top and brush with oil. Bake for 45 minutes.
Step 5
Before serving, the pie should be cooled, sprinkled with a little sour cream and sprinkled with a spicy mixture, and then finely chopped herbs.
