This is a very interesting and original dish that will give you an energy boost for the whole day!
It is necessary
- - 100 g of peeled almonds;
- - 225 g of sugar;
- - 50 g of dark chocolate, broken into small pieces;
- - 50 g of oil;
- - 125 ml cream;
- - 50 ml strong coffee.
Instructions
Step 1
Fry the almonds in a skillet and let cool.
Step 2
Combine sugar, chocolate, butter, whipping cream and coffee, bring to a boil over low heat, stirring frequently.
Step 3
Heat the sugar mixture (stirring constantly) for 15 minutes, until it has a syrupy consistency.
Step 4
Fill a small bowl with cold water and toss a piece of the mixture into the water.
If it stays solid and forms a ball, then the mixture is ready. Remove the fondant from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Stir the mixture with a wooden spoon until it thickens.
Step 6
Combine the fondant with the almonds and pour the mixture into the mold. Make grooves on the surface so that the fondant can be easily broken into squares or rectangles after cooling.
Step 7
Refrigerate the fondant for at least 6 hours.
Serve on the table.
