    • 1 tablespoon tomato puree;
    • 1 lemon;
    • 10 olives;
    • Bay leaf;
    • 5-6 peas of black pepper;
    • salt to taste;
    • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
    • sour cream and herbs for dressing.

Instructions

Step 1

To make a quick hodgepodge, you will need an assortment of several (at least three to four) different types of meat and sausages of your choice. For example, it can be smoked, raw smoked and boiled sausages, sausages, small sausages, boiled tongue, bacon, ham, smoked brisket, etc. Cut them into cubes or slices along with pickles. Wash the potatoes, peel and chop into very thin strips, washed tomatoes - small cubes, canned olives - rings. Scald the lemon with boiling water and cut into two halves. Squeeze the juice from one part, peel the other and cut into thin slices.

Step 2

Peel the onions, chop them finely and lightly fry in hot vegetable oil in a saucepan or in a thick-walled saucepan. Put the tomato puree there, pour in a little boiled water and simmer under the lid for about five minutes. Then add chopped pickles, potato strips, meat and sausage slices, black peppercorns. Stir all the ingredients and simmer for another ten minutes, covered over low heat.

Step 3

After ten minutes, pour 1.5-2 liters of broth, lemon juice, tomato slices and bay leaf into a saucepan. As a rule, sausages and pickles give the necessary rich taste to such a hodgepodge, but it is better to try the food at this stage and, if necessary, add salt or other spices.

Step 4

Bring the hodgepodge to a boil and simmer for a couple of minutes. Serve the finished dish to the table by spilling into plates, adding sour cream, lemon slices and olives rings. If you wish, you can sprinkle the dish with finely chopped dill or parsley.
