There are more than one thousand recipes for making all kinds of sauces in the world - sweet and sour, white and red, fresh and spicy. Milk cheese sauce is perhaps the most popular. This sauce is based on milk and cheese. This sauce perfectly sets off the taste of any dish, it can even be stuffed with some individual dishes, served separately as a liquid gravy. And to give the sauce a special flavor, you can add nutmeg to it.
It is necessary
- - 300 ml of milk;
- - 100 g parmesan cheese;
- - 15 g of flour, butter;
- - 1 onion;
- - 1 bay leaf;
- - nutmeg, black pepper, salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the onion, chop, transfer to a saucepan. Add bay leaves to it.

Pour in the milk, let the contents of the saucepan boil, then cover the dishes with a lid.

Leave the milk aside for 20 minutes, let the future sauce infuse. Then strain it.
Step 4
Melt the butter separately, add flour, fry until golden.

Pour milk into the flour and butter, cook until thickened, stirring the sauce with a whisk.

Season with salt and pepper to taste, add grated cheese and nutmeg.

Cook the milk cheese sauce over low heat for 5 minutes. The mixture should be smooth.
