The traditional Italian sandwich panino imbottito (panini) has gained immense popularity all over the world. All thanks to the excellent taste and ease of preparation.
It is necessary
- For a traditional Italian sandwich:
- - Ciabatta;
- - ham - 200 gr.;
- - mustard - 4 tsp;
- - Mozzarella cheese - 200 gr.;
- - vinegar (apple cider, you can balsamic) - 4 tsp;
- - a tomato;
- - red pepper (hot) - 2 pcs.;
- - basil.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the ciabatta in half lengthwise, smear its upper part with mustard, and sprinkle the lower part with vinegar.
Step 2
Put the sliced Mozzarella, ham, tomato and pepper on the bottom of the bread, sprinkle with basil leaves. Cover with the top half of the ciabatta.
Step 3
Next, the sandwich is laid out on a preheated pan, closed with a lid and fried on 2 sides. Cooking time on medium heat approx. 6 minutes until golden brown.
Step 4
Before serving, the sandwich is cut into 6 pieces and served hot.
