Classic steak is a portion of beef meat with a thickness of no more than 3 cm, fried on both sides. The steak can have different degrees of roasting, someone loves it with blood, and someone fries the meat until crisp.
It is necessary
- - 1 kg of beef tenderloin;
- - 500 g cherry tomatoes;
- - 7 cloves of garlic;
- - asparagus;
- - 6 sprigs of fresh thyme;
- - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- - 4 teaspoons of salt;
- - half a bunch of basil.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut a piece of beef tenderloin into four steaks, salt, rub with pepper, let stand for a while.
Step 2
Sauté the meat on each side in olive oil for 5 minutes. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
Step 3
Transfer the meat from the pan to a baking sheet, place in the oven for 10 minutes, then remove, let cool for 15 minutes.
Step 4
After frying the meat, there is juice left - add 2 teaspoons of oil to it, simmer chopped garlic for 2 minutes, add asparagus, boiled in boiling water, thyme and cherry. Stir - be careful not to crush the tomatoes.
Step 5
Place the beef steaks on a platter along with asparagus and tomatoes, garnish with basil sprigs. Serve immediately.
