Canned sprats in oil are a popular addition to the holiday menu. But they can be served not only as a snack. Salads prepared on the basis of sprat are also tasty and juicy. Alternatively, you can make one very simple salad that is perfect for the New Year and not only.

It is necessary

  • - sprats in oil - 1 can;
  • - potatoes - 4 pcs.;
  • - chicken eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • - onions - 1 pc.;
  • - canned corn - 1 can;
  • - mayonnaise - 200 g;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - vinegar 9% - 3 tsp;
  • - salt;
  • - granulated sugar - 2 tsp;
  • - fresh parsley - 2-3 sprigs.

Instructions

Step 1

Dip the potatoes in a saucepan with water, bring to a boil and cook in a uniform until tender. Hard-boiled chicken eggs, and then cool in cold tap water.

Step 2

Peel the onions and cut into thin half rings. Put them in a deep bowl, put a teaspoon of salt, granulated sugar and vinegar. Fill everything with water, mix well and leave for 15-20 minutes.

Step 3

When the potatoes and eggs have cooled, peel and chop. To make the salad more tender, grate the eggs on a fine grater, and the potatoes on a coarse grater. Put the sprats in oil on a plate and mash them with a fork.

Step 4

Now we will form the layers. Take a dish or salad bowl. You can also use the culinary ring. Place the first layer of grated potatoes, sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Grease generously with mayonnaise on top.

Step 5

Drain the marinade from the chopped onion and squeeze out the excess liquid well. Place the onion on top of the potatoes and brush with a thin layer of mayonnaise as well. Place mashed sprats on the onion and distribute them evenly.

Step 6

Next, lay the grated eggs, brush them with mayonnaise and finish picking the salad with canned corn. Garnish with fresh parsley leaves on top and refrigerate for several hours.
