Mostly wontons are Chinese dumplings, prepared with meat or vegetable fillings. I suggest making them with dates. This dessert will pleasantly surprise you with its simplicity of preparation and excellent taste.
It is necessary
- - blanks for wontons - 12 pcs.;
- - starch - 2 tablespoons;
- - honey - 2 tablespoons;
- - cold water - 6 tablespoons;
- - vegetable oil for deep fat;
- - dates - 175 g;
- - brown sugar - 2 tablespoons;
- - ground cinnamon - 1/2 tablespoon.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour boiling water over the dates. Leave them in this position for about 10-15 minutes. Then rinse the dried fruit and chop it into small pieces, then mix it with the following ingredients: brown sugar and cinnamon. Mix everything as it should. The filling for the wontons is ready.
Step 2
Lay out special blanks on the work surface. Place a small amount of date mass in the center of each. It is more convenient to do this procedure using a teaspoon.
Step 3
Combine starch with cold water. Mix the resulting liquid mixture thoroughly. Lubricate the edges of the workpieces with this solution. Carefully wrap the future delicacy in such a way that you get a kind of bag.
Step 4
Pour enough oil into a deep frying pan or deep frying pan. Preheat it, then fry the date-filled bags in it for 2-3 minutes. Spread wontons in butter in portions.
Step 5
Carefully remove the golden bags from the hot oil and place them on paper napkins or a towel. This should be done in order to remove excess fat from the wontons.
Step 6
Serve the finished delicacy to the table, having previously greased it with honey. Date wontons are ready!
