Instructions
Step 1
Make a dough. Beat eggs with sugar, add milk, softened butter, add flour with baking powder and vanilla. Whisk thoroughly until smooth.
Step 2
Place the dish on a baking sheet, transfer half of the dough into it and distribute evenly in the dish. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 18 minutes. Soak the cake for 5 minutes and turn over onto a wire rack. Bake more crust from the remaining dough.
Step 3
Make butter cream. Whisk butter into fluffy cream. Add the sifted icing sugar while whisking the cream. Add vanilla extract, milk and beat until smooth. Spread cream on one cake.
Step 4
Spread 6 tablespoons of apricot jam over the second crust and place the crust and cream on top. Cut off the raised portions of the crust, if necessary, so that the surface is level. Heat 4 tablespoons of apricot jam and rub through a sieve.
Step 5
Spread the grated jam on all sides with a silicone brush. Roll the marzipan into a large circle. Using a rolling pin, transfer the rolled marzipan to the cake, smooth and trim the excess.
Step 6
Decorate the cake. Lightly dust a work surface with powdered sugar and roll the purple mastic into a large circle. Try not to get any powder on the surface of the mastic. Brush the marzipan with water. Transfer the mastic to the cake and smooth with your hands. Cut off any excess. Move the cake to the board.
Step 7
Roll out the white mastic and cut the stars into cookie cutters. Cut out the two largest stars for the central stars and extract the centers. Leave to dry for a few hours. Lightly moisten the stars with water and sprinkle with food glitter. Vary the amount so that some stars have only light pollen and others sparkle brightly. Leave to dry.
Step 8
Glue the stars to the cake with drops of royal icing. Place the stars without centers in such a way that they support each other, and glue with royal icing. Rub some glitter onto the surface of the cake. Glue the candies and pearls with icing and, if desired, insert the foil curls.
