Each country celebrates Easter in its own way. Everyone has long had their own special culinary customs and traditions for this holiday. In Scotland, the traditional muffin is in the shape of a lamb, a symbol of the emergence of a new life. Not a single Scottish Easter table is complete without this cupcake. It is simple and easy to bake, so you don't need much work to cook it.
It is necessary
- - 100 g butter
- - 150 g granulated sugar
- - 4 eggs
- - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of flour
- - a can of boiled condensed milk
- - baking dish in the shape of a lamb
Instructions
Step 1
Separate the whites from the yolks. Stir the yolks with softened butter and sugar. Beat the whites with a pinch of salt into a strong foam.
Step 2
Mix half of the protein foam with the yolk mass. Add flour and some baking soda. Mix everything well and add the remaining protein foam. Gently mix again with movements from top to bottom. The dough should have the consistency of thick sour cream.
Step 3
Grease the mold with oil and carefully pour the dough into it. Place the mold with the dough in a cold oven, and only then turn it on at 200 degrees. Bake the cake for about forty minutes. Cool slightly, remove the cake from the mold and let cool until the end.
Step 4
Then we cut the baked and cooled cake into two halves, grease them with boiled condensed milk and glue them. Sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
