It is necessary

  • - 1 glass of green lentils;
  • - 0.5 cups of water;
  • - 0.5 cups of bread crumbs;
  • - 1 onion;
  • - 5 cloves of garlic;
  • - flour, salt, black pepper.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the green lentils thoroughly beforehand, then fill it with cold water, leave to swell for a while. Drain the water.

Step 2

Peel the onion and garlic, chop the onion coarsely. Place whole garlic cloves, onions, and prepared lentils in a blender bowl. Pour in half a glass of plain water and whisk.

Step 3

Now add bread crumbs to the resulting green mass. Season with pepper and salt to taste. Stir - you should get a thick mass, reminiscent of minced meat. Form small patties from it. Breaded green lentil patties in flour.

Heat a frying pan, fry the cutlets on both sides in vegetable oil until tender - this takes no more than 5-10 minutes. The cutlets should turn out to be golden brown, make sure that they do not burn. To a large extent, the cooking time depends on the size of the cutlets that you blinded and on what heat you are cooking.

Serve ready-made green patties hot or warm. As a side dish, you can boil rice, fry potatoes, or make mashed potatoes. Serve the patties garnished with whole sprigs of fresh herbs.
