It is necessary

  • - 2 mackerels,
  • - 300 g of red bell pepper,
  • - 200-250 g of hard cheese,
  • - 3 onions,
  • - 1 small lemon,
  • - salt to taste,
  • - ground black pepper to taste,
  • - vegetable oil to taste,
  • - fresh herbs (dill or parsley) to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Clean two mackerels of entrails, remove fins, ridge, head, large bones. Rinse the fish well.

Step 2

Rub the mackerel with a mixture of salt and pepper, if desired, add fish spices. Rinse the lemon, squeeze the juice, which pour over the fish. Lemon can be omitted if desired.

Step 3

Spread a sheet of parchment on the table, put the fish on it. Sprinkle the grated cheese on the mackerel for the first layer. For cooking it is better to use Parmesan cheese.

Step 4

Rinse bell peppers from seeds, cut into small cubes or strips. Cut the peeled onions into cubes or half rings to taste. Fry the onions and bell peppers in vegetable oil. Cool the vegetables and place them on top of the cheese - this will be the second layer. Do the same with the second fish. Wrap the fish in parchment, transfer to an ovenproof dish and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.

Step 5

Bake the fish for half an hour. Then remove the mackerel, carefully remove the parchment from it, garnish with fresh herbs and serve with a side dish or as an independent dish.
