Chicken salad with orange, pomegranate, pickled onions, seasoned with yogurt, will not leave anyone indifferent. The salad is very light and nutritious. It is quite simple to prepare it. The specified amount of food is enough for 3 servings.
It is necessary
- - chicken breast (fillet) - 300 g;
- - orange - 1 pc.;
- - celery stalks - 50 g;
- - onion (red) - 1 pc.;
- - Frize lettuce leaves - 50 g;
- - pomegranate - 1 pc.;
- - classic yogurt - 3 tbsp. l.;
- - lemon - 1 pc.;
- - sugar - 0.5 tsp;
- - salt - a pinch;
- - ground black pepper - a pinch.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the chicken fillet with water, boil in salted water until tender. Cool, cut into medium cubes.
Step 2
Peel the onion and cut into thin half rings. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon pulp (you need about 2 tablespoons of lemon juice).
Step 3
Combine lemon juice, sugar, salt and ground pepper. Stir. Pour the seasoned lemon juice on the onion, stir and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Peel the orange, divide into wedges. Cut each slice into 3-4 parts, remove the seeds. Cut the celery stalk into thin slices. Rinse lettuce leaves with water, dry and tear into small pieces with your hands. Remove the grains from the pomegranate (you need about 2 tablespoons of grains).
Step 5
Combine chicken fillet, pickled onion, orange, celery, salt and stir. Season the salad with yogurt and stir again. Put some lettuce leaves on a serving plate, top with cooked chicken salad, sprinkle with pomegranate seeds. The dish is ready.
