Take a baking sheet and brush it with vegetable oil. Spread the first layer of dough on top, brush it with whipped egg white and sprinkle with nuts, then lay the next layer of dough, and so on until all layers are stacked. Brush the last of them with whipped yolk.

Take a sharp knife and cut the pie into pieces that look like diamonds or squares, or you can make triangles. Put halves of walnuts on each part and place in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees.

Step 9

After 45 minutes, take out the baklava and brush the entire surface with honey, put it in the oven again for 10 minutes and bring it to readiness. Remove the baking sheet and cool to room temperature. Baklava is ready!
