Pancake cake is an easy way to surprise guests. By the way, a pancake cake does not have to be sweet, try to make a filling of cream cheese and smoked red fish for it, the flavor of this dish will pleasantly surprise you.
Food preparation
In order to make a pancake cake with salmon, you will need: 1, 5 cups of milk, 1, 5 cups of flour, 4 eggs, 7 tbsp. l. butter, 500 g smoked salmon, 200 g cream cheese, ½ tsp. salt, 2 tbsp. l. dill.
Cooking Salmon Pancake Cake
Take a small saucepan and put butter in it, melt over low heat. Combine milk, eggs and salt in a separate container, whisk together. Add the sifted flour and stir the dough until smooth, you can use a blender for convenience. When the melted butter has cooled, add it to the dough and stir again.
Cover the bowl with the dough with cling film and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes. Take a frying pan, grease it with vegetable oil and heat it up. When the pan is well preheated, start baking the pancakes. Stack ready-made pancakes and set aside.
Mix the cream cheese with chopped dill, cut the smoked red fish into slices. Get a serving platter where you will be serving salmon pancake cake.
Put the first pancake on a dish and brush it with cream cheese, top with chopped fish. So repeat each layer. You can decorate the top pancake with a sprig of dill or red caviar.
