The meatballs are cooked in the oven, so there is no need to stand near the stove by the frying pan and cook meatballs in turn.
It is necessary
- - 200 g spinach,
- - 800 g minced meat,
- - 1 egg,
- - 1 tbsp. table mustard,
- - 50 g grated parmesan,
- - 3 slices of white toast bread without crust,
- - 2 bell peppers,
- - 1 onion,
- - 3 tomatoes,
- - salt and ground black pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Place the bread in a blender and grind it into crumbs. Then transfer it to a bowl, add minced meat, egg, spinach, cheese, mustard, salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything.
Step 2
Shape the minced meat into small meatballs. You should get about 20-25 pieces. Place them on a baking sheet lined with foil and greased with sunflower oil. Send the meatballs to an oven preheated to 185 degrees and bake for 30-40 minutes, until tender.
Step 3
While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce. Chop the onion finely. Heat sunflower oil in a skillet. Put the onion there and fry, stirring constantly, until soft, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 4
Meanwhile, place the peeled bell peppers and tomatoes in a blender. Everything needs to be ground not very finely.
Step 5
Pour the resulting mass into a pan with onions, salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, covered, for 10-20 minutes, until peppers are tender.
Step 6
Serve meatballs with sauce and mashed potatoes.
