Ceviche is a well-known Peruvian dish. In the traditional sense, it is raw fish with a lemon marinade. We are trying to move away from the canons and replace it with shrimp.
It is necessary
- - 300 g of shrimp;
- - lemon;
- - 2 oranges;
- - 2 bell peppers;
- - 1/2 tsp salt;
- - 1 tsp olive oil;
- - 1/2 tsp basil vinegar;
- - 2 sprigs of parsley or cilantro;
- - a small red onion.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour water into a small saucepan and put shrimps in it, add salt, put on fire, bring to a boil and turn off the heating. Leave the shrimp in hot water for five minutes. So we boil frozen shrimp. If we use fresh, then we boil them for five minutes.
Step 2
Squeeze the juice from a lemon and an orange and a half. You can use a juicer, or you can just use your hands, whoever is more comfortable. Pour the resulting juice into a bowl.
Step 3
We take the shrimp out of the water and peel it. Put the warm shrimp meat in a bowl with juice and leave for half an hour.
Step 4
Peel the onion and cut into cubes. Rinse the pepper and remove the seeds, cut into cubes. Peel the half of the orange and cut into cubes.
Step 5
Season our salad with oil, vinegar and chopped parsley or cilantro. Put the salad in small portions. We serve an original salad on the festive table. If desired, each portion of the salad can be garnished with a few sprigs of fresh herbs. Nice and simple.
