American pancakes resemble our pancakes, only they are nourishing, lighter, softer and much more airy. Pancake doughs usually contain only the main ingredients, no additives are required. But in this recipe, you can add cinnamon to the dough to enhance the taste.
It is necessary
- - 240 g flour;
- - 220 ml of milk;
- - 4 eggs;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar;
- - 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda;
- - a pinch of salt;
- - butter;
- - cinnamon.
Instructions
Step 1
Separate the yolks from the whites, mash the yolks with cinnamon and sugar. Refrigerate the whites. Pour milk into the yolks, sift milk there, stirring occasionally. Quench the soda with vinegar, add to the mixture.
Step 2
Salt the whites, beat with a mixer to get a dense foam with stable peaks. Beat at high speed.
Step 3
In portions, add the protein mass to the dough, stirring from bottom to top.
Step 4
Put the frying pan on medium heat, grease with butter - you will not need to grease it anymore.
Step 5
Put the dough on a frying pan with a spoon, fry the pancakes for 2 minutes - the surface should tighten, then turn them over, fry until tender. In this way, use up all the prepared dough.
Step 6
Place ready-made American pancakes in a stack on a plate, brush with butter.
