Apple pie is a classic among sweet baked goods. There are a huge number of their types, each housewife has her own recipe. An interesting option is mini pies baked in a muffin tin.
It is necessary
- For the test:
- - 350 gr. flour;
- - a teaspoon of salt;
- - 30 gr. sugar (about 2 tablespoons);
- - 230 gr. butter;
- - from 60 to 120 ml of ice water.
- For filling:
- - 8 medium sized apples;
- - 100 gr. Sahara;
- - a spoonful of lemon juice;
- - a teaspoon of ground cinnamon;
- - a pinch of salt;
- - 30 gr. butter (about 2 tablespoons);
- - 15 gr. cornstarch (a tablespoon and a teaspoon);
- - some vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Put flour, salt and sugar in a mixer bowl, mix and add pieces of butter. Pour in a little water and mix the ingredients with a spoon so that dust does not rise from beating with a mixer. We begin to knead the dough, gradually pouring in water. The dough should be neither too firm nor too runny.
Step 2
Cover the finished dough with foil and put it in the refrigerator for an hour.

At this time, we are preparing the filling. Cut the apples into small pieces and mix in a bowl with sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, starch and a pinch of salt.

Pour in the melted butter and mix all the ingredients.

Preheat the oven to 180C, grease the cake pan with a small amount of vegetable oil.
Step 6
Take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out 3 mm thick. Using two glasses, we cut out 2 circles of 11 and 8.5 cm in diameter (these sizes are ideal for molds 6, 5 cm in diameter, if the shapes are smaller or larger, you need to adjust the size of the circles from the dough).

Place the larger circles of dough in the muffin pan to make a kind of basket.
Step 8
We put the filling in the molds and cover with dough circles of a smaller diameter, pinch the edges to make miniature pies. We make a cruciform hole so that steam escapes.

We bake miniature apple pies for 25-30 minutes. Let them cool for 15 minutes, serve!
