Crab sticks are a popular ingredient in many salads, especially those served on New Years. If you love them for their good taste and availability, try making a very successful salad. In a duet with canned corn, a very light snack is obtained. In addition, such a salad looks bright and may well decorate a festive table.

It is necessary

  • - crab sticks - 200 g;
  • - canned corn - 170 g;
  • - large carrot - 1 pc.;
  • - chicken eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • - small sweet and sour apples - 2 pcs.;
  • - lemon juice - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • - mayonnaise - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • - salt;
  • - dill - a few branches;
  • - lettuce leaves and fresh parsley for garnish.

Instructions

Step 1

Dip the carrots in a saucepan of water, bring to a boil and cook in their skins until tender. It should be soft enough. Place the chicken eggs in a container with salted water and cook for 10-15 minutes. Then cool them immediately under running cold water.

Step 2

Peel and remove sweet and sour apples. Cut them into small cubes. To prevent darkening, sprinkle with lemon juice and stir. Peel chicken eggs and cut into small pieces.

Step 3

Remove the film from the crab sticks and cut them into thin slices. Peel the cooled carrots and cut into rounds about 3 mm thick, starting at the wide end. It will take 7-8 pieces. We will decorate the salad with them. Here you can show a little creativity and cut hearts or stars out of carrot circles with a knife. And chop the rest into small cubes.

Step 4

All ingredients are ready, now you can put them in a deep salad bowl: sliced apples, crab sticks, carrot cubes and eggs. Drain any liquid from canned corn and place it along with chopped dill sprigs. Add salt to taste and mix well.

Step 5

Before serving, season the salad with mayonnaise, decorate with carrot figurines (circles, hearts, stars), fresh parsley and lettuce.
