Cooking the most delicious and tender salted salmon. It is not difficult and much cheaper than in a store. The recipe is suitable not only for salting salmon at home, but also for salting trout.
It is necessary
- Fresh salmon (tail) 500-700 gr
- Coarse salt 2 teaspoons
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
Instructions
Step 1
We take the tail of the salmon (previously thawed, if required), clean it from the scales, rinse it, cut off the fins and the tail itself. With a sharp knife, carefully separate the skin. Then we cut the salmon along the ridge, remove the spine and large bones with tweezers to get a clean fillet. We divide it into about 2-4 parts.
Step 2
We mix salt and sugar. We take enamel (or glass) dishes, preferably with a lid. Sprinkle the bottom with a mixture of salt and sugar, put the salmon on it. Then add salt on top again, close the dishes with a lid (you can use cling film instead of a lid) and put them in the refrigerator for a day. In a day, the fish is ready for consumption.
Step 3
You can serve ready-made salmon to the table in chopped slices, garnished with sprigs of fresh dill and thin slices of lemon.
