Fish nests are easy to prepare and very juicy and tender. The dish is suitable for both festive and everyday menus.

It is necessary

  • For 20 nests:
  • - fish fillets (red fish or pollock) - 0.5 kg;
  • - loaf (French baguette);
  • - onion - 2 pcs.;
  • - milk - 500 ml;
  • - mayonnaise;
  • - cheese.

Instructions

Step 1

Initially, we prepare all the ingredients:

- finely chop the onion and fish, mix everything, add herbs, salt and pepper;

- rub the cheese.

Step 2

Cut the loaf into pieces (about 1.5-2 cm thick) and soak in milk. Then we squeeze out a little.

Step 3

Put the pieces of loaf in a greased baking dish.

In each piece, we make a depression with a spoon, into which we spread the onion-fish mixture.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Lubricate the "nests" with mayonnaise on top and put in the oven for 45 minutes.

Step 5

Then sprinkle the "nests" with cheese and keep in the oven for another 5-7 minutes.
