I love marmalade very much, especially homemade. I cook it from different fruits and berries. Last year I tried to make from Japanese quince - and I liked it, and my whole family approved the experiment! In addition, there are no dyes in this delicacy, you know what the marmalade is made of. Therefore, I offer my recipe, write it down.
It is necessary
- - 0.5 kg of sugar,
- - 2 glasses of water,
- - 1 kg of Japanese quince.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the quince and cut into slices. Place fruits in a saucepan and cover with water. Cook until the quince is very soft. Remove from heat, cool, drain the liquid, and rub the fruits through a colander.
Step 2
Then pour 2 cups of water into this mass and add sugar. Stir and put on fire. When the mass boils, reduce heat and boil until thick.
Step 3
When the mass acquires the desired consistency, put it on a baking sheet (first, it should be covered with parchment and sprinkled with powdered sugar mixed with starch). When the marmalade has hardened, it can be cut into pieces. It is necessary to store sweets in the refrigerator.
