- For the chocolate layer:
- eggs - 2 pcs,
- sugar - 150 g,
- wheat flour - 140 g,
- cocoa - 20 g,
- butter - 100 g,
- sour cream - 100 g,
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp,
- a pinch of salt.
- For the vanilla layer:
- eggs - 2 pcs,
- sugar - 150 g,
- wheat flour - 160 g,
- butter - 100 g,
- sour cream - 100 g,
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp,
- vanillin - one sachet
- a pinch of salt,
- some milk for impregnation, about 1/3 cup.
- For the cream:
- butter - 250 g,
- condensed milk - 380 g.
Instructions
Step 1
We take the oil out of the refrigerator in advance so that by the time cooking starts, it has already become soft. We put the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
Step 2
We make a vanilla layer. We break the eggs into a deep container, begin to beat with a mixer or a whisk, gradually adding sugar. Beat it white. Add 100 g of softened butter, mix until smooth. Add sour cream with vanilla, continuing to beat. In a separate bowl, sift the flour with baking powder and a pinch of salt. Add the flour mixture to the batter in parts, stirring gently with a spatula.
Step 3
Put baking paper into the mold (I have a shape of about 24 by 30 cm) and pour the dough in a thin layer, evenly distributing it. Put in the oven until tender, about 7-9 minutes.
Step 4
At this time, we prepare the chocolate layer. We do all the same steps: beat eggs with sugar, add butter, sour cream. Sift flour with cocoa, baking powder and a pinch of salt and stir into the dough.
Step 5
When the vanilla layer is ready, remove it from the mold along with the parchment, lay a new parchment, pour out the chocolate dough and put it in the oven. At this time, we make a cream: beat the softened butter with condensed milk.
Step 6
We take out the finished chocolate layer, but do not turn off the oven. Cut mugs out of the vanilla layer (in my case, it turns out 12 circles), do the same with the chocolate layer. We put the cuttings in forms and send them to the oven for 5 minutes to dry. We take them out of the oven and grind them into small crumbs with a blender.
Step 7
Soak each vanilla circle with 1 tbsp. milk. We collect the cake: liberally spread the vanilla circle with cream, press it on top with a chocolate layer; grease the sides with cream and roll them in crumbs from the cakes; grease the top of the cake with the latter and sprinkle it with crumbs. Cool the cakes in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
