Apricot dumplings are a very tasty and unusual dish that is quite easy to prepare. This is what I propose to you to do. This delicacy will appeal to both adults and children.
It is necessary
- - low-fat cottage cheese - 150 g;
- - semolina - 75 g;
- - wheat flour - 1 tablespoon;
- - egg yolk - 1 pc.;
- - lemon peel - 2 teaspoons;
- - refined sugar - 3 pieces;
- - apricots - 3 pcs.;
- - butter - 2 tablespoons;
- - granulated sugar - 1 tablespoon;
- - bread crumbs - 2 tablespoons;
- - a pinch of cinnamon;
- - salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Place the curd in a separate bowl. Pass it through a sieve several times to soften it. Then add the following ingredients to it: egg yolk, grated lemon zest, semolina and two pinches of salt. Mix everything until smooth. Wrap the resulting dough with plastic or cling film and refrigerate for about half an hour.
Step 2
Rinse the apricots thoroughly, then remove the seeds from them. Then put a piece of refined sugar in each fruit.
Step 3
Pinch off a small piece from the finished dough. Knead it with your hands so that a flat cake forms. Place the fruit with sugar in its center. Gently lock the edges, then form a ball. Do the same with the rest of the apricots.
Step 4
Pour water into a large saucepan. Salt it lightly, then bring to a boil. As soon as this happens, put the dumplings with apricots in there. Their willingness to understand is simple - they will emerge.
Step 5
Meanwhile, place the breadcrumbs in the butter in the skillet. Fry them, stirring constantly. Once they turn golden, add granulated sugar and cinnamon to them. Mix everything thoroughly. The breading mixture is ready.
Step 6
Remove the boiled dough balls from the water, then roll them in the bread mixture. The apricot dumplings are ready!
