Summer pampers us not only with warmth, but also with berries. I suggest you bake strawberry cookies. Although the recipe for its preparation is quite simple, the taste will still pleasantly surprise you.
It is necessary
- - wheat flour - 190 g;
- - whole grain flour - 200 g;
- - strawberries - 3 glasses;
- - cream - 240 ml;
- - sugar - 135 g;
- - butter - 115 g;
- - baking powder for dough - 3 teaspoons;
- - lemon juice - 1 teaspoon;
- - salt - 1/4 teaspoon.
Instructions
Step 1
With strawberries, do the following: rinse them thoroughly from dust and dirt, then dry them, then remove the green part. After all the above procedures, chop the berry into small pieces. This way, you should end up with at least 2.5 cups of chopped strawberries.
Step 2
Place the strawberries chopped into small pieces in a separate bowl. Add juice squeezed from lemon to it. Mix everything thoroughly. Set the berry aside and leave it alone for a while.
Step 3
In the meantime, combine the following ingredients in a deep-bottomed bowl: granulated sugar, wheat flour and whole grain flour, as well as salt and baking powder, i.e. baking powder. Mix the resulting dry mixture properly, then add cold butter, chopped into small pieces, to it. Grind the resulting mass until it turns into coarse crumbs.
Step 4
Mix the creamy flour mass with the cream. It is best to use fatty cream for making strawberry cookies. Mix everything until smooth. Add chopped berries with lemon juice to the resulting dough. Stir again.
Step 5
Place a piece of parchment on a shallow baking dish or baking sheet. Put the strawberry mass in the form of small cakes on it at some distance from each other using a tablespoon. In this form, send the future cookies to bake at an oven temperature of 190 degrees for about 20 minutes.
Step 6
When the pastry is golden brown, remove from the oven and cool. Strawberry cookies are ready!
