If you follow the instructions, you will end up with delicious and soft muffins with plum chunks. They are ideal for family tea drinking. You can decorate the finished baked goods at your discretion: cover with sweet icing or simply sprinkle with powdered sugar.
It is necessary
- For six servings:
- - 300 g flour;
- - 300 g plums;
- - 125 g sugar;
- - 80 g of butter;
- - 10 g vanilla sugar;
- - 3 eggs;
- - 3 tbsp. spoons of brandy;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of powdered sugar;
- - 2 tsp baking powder;
- - a pinch of salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Divide the eggs into yolks and whites. Whisk the yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar. Melt the butter, chill, mix with cognac (do not add cognac if making cupcakes for children), add to whipped yolks.
Step 2
Sift flour with baking powder, add to the whipped mass. Beat the egg whites separately and combine with the resulting dough.
Step 3
Rinse the plums, cut each in half and remove the seeds. Leave 6 halves, cut the rest into cubes, add to the dough, mix. Cut the remaining halves of the plums into thin slices.
Step 4
Grease muffin tins with butter or line with paper tins, 2/3 full with dough. Press in several slices of plums from above. Cook the muffins at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Then cool the finished muffins with plums, remove from the molds, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
