An excellent nut cake recipe - the combination of delicate cream, nut cakes and crunchy chocolate will win you over from the first bite! You can decorate the delicacy at your discretion, for example, sugar flowers and coconut powder.
It is necessary
- - 150 g of walnuts;
- - 150 g of sugar;
- - 4 egg whites;
- - 1 tsp flour;
- - a pinch of salt.
- For the cream:
- - 300 ml of cream, 33% fat;
- - 130 g of dark chocolate;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of powdered sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
First, fry the walnuts in a dry skillet, grind very finely in a blender, but not until flour. Whisk the whites with a pinch of salt into a strong foam, gradually add the sugar. Mix the nuts with flour, add in a couple of steps into the whipped egg whites, stir from bottom to top.
Step 2
Draw 20 cm circles on baking paper, dust them with flour, spread the dough about 1 centimeter thick. Bake for 5 minutes at 220 degrees. Thus, bake 6 identical cakes for the future cake, cool them, remove with a spatula.
Step 3
Melt 100 g of chocolate in a water bath, brush the cakes with melted chocolate on one side using a cooking brush. Whip the cream with powdered sugar. Coat the cakes with cream, stack them on top of each other. Spread cream on the sides and top of the cake too.
Step 4
Rub the rest of the chocolate on a fine grater, sprinkle the sides and part of the top of the cake with the resulting crumbs (do not fill the middle, decorate it with something else of your choice). Serve ready-made nut cake with hot tea or coffee.
