If you like herring with potatoes, then you will appreciate this unusual pie. There is nothing difficult in cooking, the usual flour dough is replaced with potato dough, which is mixed with hard cheese. And the usual meat filling is replaced with herring under the filling of cheese, eggs and cream. It turns out very tasty.
It is necessary
- For the test:
- -6 potatoes,
- -80 grams of hard cheese,
- -salt to taste.
- For filling:
- -1 herring,
- -2 tomatoes,
- -1 onion,
- -4 tbsp. tablespoons of olive or vegetable oil.
- To fill:
- -200 ml cream,
- -50 grams of any hard cheese,
- -1 egg,
- - a little black pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the onion, cut into half rings. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, fry the onion until golden.
Step 2
Finely three hard cheese. My tomatoes, cut into slices.
Step 3
Boil the potatoes, peel them, finely three. We shift the grated potatoes into a volumetric cup, pour in two-thirds of the cheese (we leave the rest of the cheese for pouring), mix well.
Step 4
We cover the form with baking paper, which we grease with oil (this is necessary so that after cooking it is easier to separate the cake from the paper).
Step 5
We put potatoes in a mold (on baking paper), seal, form boots. Fill the bottom with fried onions. Put medium pieces of herring on the onion, and the tomatoes on the herring.
Step 6
To pour, stir the egg slightly, add the chilled cream and add the remaining cheese, mix well.
Step 7
Fill the filling with filling. We bake at 180 degrees for half an hour until golden brown. Let the finished cake cool (about 15 minutes), then carefully remove it from the mold. Decorate with sprigs of dill or parsley, serve warm.
