Summer is the time for picnics. What is a picnic without aromatic meat cooked over charcoal? Prepare a barbecue in a mint marinade - the aroma and taste will be excellent! Pork or lamb is suitable for barbecue.
It is necessary
- For four servings:
- - 1 kg of pork or lamb;
- - 250 g of yogurt;
- - a bunch of peppermint;
- - 5 cloves of garlic;
- - 1, 5 pcs. bell pepper;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of Worcestershire sauce;
- - salt, black pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the mint, peel the garlic. In a blender, grind the mint along with the garlic and salt until smooth. Add Worcestershire sauce, natural yogurt without any additives. Whisk again until smooth.
Step 2
Rinse a piece of fresh meat, cut into small cubes. Keep in mind that too small pieces of meat will quickly turn into coals, and large pieces take a long time to cook, so the golden mean is important here. Pour the pieces of meat with mint marinade, let stand for 1-2 hours - this is quite enough for the kebab to be saturated with a special aroma. At this stage, you can add onions, cut into rings, to the meat.
Step 3
Heat the coals. Coarsely chop the bell pepper, string on skewers, alternating with pieces of meat and onion rings, if added to the marinade. Fry over coals until tender. Serve hot on skewers in the mint marinade.
