  • 800 g flour;

  • 100 ml milk
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar;
  • 2 tablespoons of butter;
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg;
  • 1 tablespoon orange peel
  • 100 ml orange juice;
  • 100 g of peeled sunflower seeds;
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted.
  1. Pour flour and dry yeast into a large bowl and stir. Add milk, sugar, butter, and salt to a small saucepan. Heat it over low heat until warm.
  2. Pour the liquid mixture into a bowl with flour and yeast. Add egg and orange juice. Beat at low speed with a mixer until the mixture is mixed, then switch to high speed and beat for another three minutes. Add orange zest and sunflower seeds and stir with a wooden spoon or hands.
  3. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead with your hands until smooth. Form the dough into a ball and place in a greased cup. Cover and let rise for 1 to 2 hours.
  4. Press down on the dough, cover again and let sit for another 10 minutes. Grease a bread pan with vegetable oil or fat and flour.
  5. Remove the dough from the bowl, mold it into a brick (or loaf, depending on the shape) and place in a baking dish. Leave it to rise for 30-45 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 190 ° C. Grease the dough with melted butter on top and place in the oven for 30-45 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and let the bread cool on the wire shelf before serving.
