A dessert called "Pelamusha" is a traditional Georgian dish. This dish is prepared in the homeland quite often, in addition, no wedding or any other celebration takes place without it. Try this unusual treat.
It is necessary
- - grape juice - 900 ml;
- - sugar - 4 tablespoons;
- - corn grits - 200 g;
- - walnuts - 1 glass.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour the corn grits into a coffee grinder and grind them until they turn into flour.
Step 2
Pour half of the juice into a suitable bowl and add the cornmeal flour. Mix everything properly. By the way, use homemade juice for making dessert "Pelamusha" whenever possible.
Step 3
Add granulated sugar to the remaining grape juice. Put this mixture on the stove and bring to a boil. The amount of sugar depends on your taste and how sweet the juice from the grapes is.
Step 4
Pour the mixture of grape juice and corn flour into the boiling liquid, by all means in a thin stream. Cook this mass until that moment, while constantly stirring with a wooden spatula, until it becomes thick, that is, for 10-12 minutes.
Step 5
Taking pre-prepared silicone molds, pour a small amount of crushed walnuts into each, then fill them with grape mass. If you do not have silicone molds, you can put the dessert in glass or metal dishes. Only in this case, moisten it with water first.
Step 6
After placing the delicacy in the refrigerator, let it stand there for 2-3 hours, that is, until it solidifies completely. Dessert "Pelamusha" is ready! The resulting dish, if desired, can be decorated with whole walnuts or coconut flakes.
