Cut the lamb ribs along the kernels. Peel the onion, cut into large half rings. Peel the carrots, rub on a coarse grater.

Take a saucepan with a thick bottom (you can even take cast iron dishes), which can be put in the oven, coat the bottom of the container with sour cream. Layer a layer of onions, then a layer of grated carrots. Spread the lamb ribs on top of the carrots.

Season with salt, pepper, add bay leaf, seasonings to taste, brush with sour cream. Next, lay out a layer of onions, carrots, ribs again. Pepper, salt, coat with sour cream. Pour some boiling water into a saucepan so that the water lightly covers the contents of the dish.
