Melon with lime, mint and ginger is an interesting combination for a summer light salad. This healthy snack is easy to prepare - in just ten minutes.
It is necessary
- For four servings:
- - melon - 1 kg;
- - one lime;
- - fresh mint - 3 tbsp. spoons;
- - grated ginger, honey - 1 tbsp. spoon;
- - sugar - 1 tsp.
Instructions
Step 1
Remove all pits from the melon, it is better to use a hard melon for this recipe (for example, cantaloupe). You can also take sweet Uzbek varieties, only then you need to do without sugar.
Step 2
Use a teaspoon to remove the melon pulp from the rind. Place the melon pulp in a deep bowl, shake the zest of the lime into it, then squeeze the juice out of the lime.
Step 3
Add chopped mint, grated ginger, honey and sugar. Mix.
Step 4
Let the salad sit in the refrigerator. If the melon was already out of the refrigerator, then you can skip this item. Still, it is better to put the salad in the refrigerator for at least half an hour - then the ingredients will be absorbed into each other much better. Bon Appetit!
