If you bought celery from a store, rinse it first and then let it dry. Only then transfer it to a jar and store it in the refrigerator later. If celery begins to wilt, place it in a small bowl of water before placing it in the refrigerator. To season it, dry it. To do this, take a large sheet of blank paper, then put grass on it and cover it with another sheet of paper. Let the celery sit for three weeks or even a month until it is completely dry, and then transfer it to a dry paper bag.

Certain rules should be followed when storing celery root, which is usually added to soups and main courses. It can be kept in the refrigerator for no more than 2-3 weeks.

Celery can also be stored frozen. This is possible if the main condition is met - the branches of greenery should not be yellow and rotten. Otherwise, such greens will deteriorate during long-term storage in the freezer. If you only want to add frozen herbs to soups, store them in ice tins. To do this, chop the herbs, put them in a small dish, fill them with water and refrigerate. Store celery in an airtight plastic container so that celery can be added to your main course. Greens retain their vitamins and flavor only when harvested before they bloom. Then, even when deep-frozen, the celery will be fragrant.

If you are stocking canned tomatoes for the winter, use celery in the pickling process. However, you can also add other herbs, such as parsley and dill. Separate salting of greens and celery roots is also possible. In addition, this method of storing greens is very convenient - salt does not allow celery to rot and deteriorate. Salted herbs are tastier. Salt the herbs in the following proportions: take 0.5 kg of grass and celery roots, mix and add 100 g of salt. After that, twist the jars and let the celery brew for two days. Add currant leaves and chili peppers for a spicy flavor, if desired.
