The pomegranate contains a lot of useful substances and trace elements: ascorbic acid, B vitamins, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, potassium. The polyphenols in pomegranate have powerful antioxidant properties and help fight free radicals, which are a major cause of aging. For good health, drink freshly squeezed pomegranate juice at least once a week, but do not forget that in some diseases it is contraindicated.
Instructions
Step 1
Pomegranate juice is easy to squeeze out with a regular juicer. Wash the pomegranate under cold water, cut it in half and press it against a special cone. The main disadvantage of this method is that you cannot remove all the partitions, so the juice will taste a little bitter.
Step 2
You can manually squeeze pomegranate juice. Take a pomegranate, cut off the top with a sharp knife, cut the pomegranate in several places and soak it in cool water for a few minutes. Then, holding the fruit under water, gently break the pomegranate into several pieces and the grains will themselves fall into the dish provided. Let the beans dry and place them in a tight plastic bag (you can use a few thin ones). Place the bag on a cutting board and tap it several times with a hammer or rolling pin. Make a small hole in the bag and pour the resulting juice into a glass or decanter.
Step 3
There is one more "popular" way. Take a pomegranate, wash it and remember it well in your hands on all sides for a soft consistency. For this method, you must have good physical fitness, otherwise it will be possible to get very little juice from one pomegranate. Make a hole in the crushed pomegranate with a knife and drain the resulting liquid.
