Whole oven baked chicken is appropriate on the table on weekdays and holidays. You can bake a pickled carcass or cook stuffed poultry. Make Chicken and Fries for a complete family dinner.

- 2 onions;
- 2 carrots;
- 10 potatoes;

Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the chicken. Pat dry with a paper towel.

Cut off excess fat from the chicken. Cut it along the brisket. Salt and pepper the inside of the carcass.

Peel 10 medium potatoes. Rinse them well and cut into large cubes. Wash the sliced potatoes in cold water.

Peel and cut 2 onions into half rings.
Step 5
Peel 2 carrots. Rinse them under running cold water and cut into thin strips.

Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil. Place the chopped potatoes on top of it and season with salt and pepper.

Pour 0.5 cups of water on a baking sheet for the potatoes.

Place the onions on top of the potatoes. Spread the carrots evenly on top.

Cut the butter into small pieces and place on top of the vegetables.
Step 10
Peel the garlic and pass it through the garlic press. Combine the garlic with sour cream.
Step 11
Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Brush it with a mixture of sour cream and garlic.
Step 12
Lay the chicken on top of the vegetables, spreading it out.
Step 13
Cut the chicken fat into small pieces and spread them over the back and breast of the chicken.

Cover the chicken with a large refractory cup so that it does not touch the back of the chicken.

Place the baking sheet with chicken in the preheated oven to 180 degrees. Bake the dish for 40 minutes.
Step 16
Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Remove the cup from the chicken. Be careful not to burn yourself with the steam.

Place the chicken back in the oven and continue baking the poultry until a delicious brownish crust appears.

Place the cooked chicken on a large, wide dish. Arrange the potatoes, carrots and onions around the bird. Serve hot chicken baked with potatoes. Serve fresh or pickled vegetables in addition.
