    • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
    • lemon juice
    • For crispy icing:
    • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
    • 120 g butter
    • 50 ml milk
    • For lime or lemon glaze:
    • 120 g icing sugar
    • 5 teaspoons lime / lemon juice
    • For fruit glaze:
    • fruit juice (2 portions 300 ml)
    • granulated sugar or powdered 500 g
    • gelatin 20 g
    • 5 tablespoons glucose syrup
    • citric acid 10 g
    • food coloring

Step 1

For the chocolate glaze, combine granulated sugar and cocoa powder. Place the container with the mixture on low heat and add sour cream. Stir constantly and heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then bring the mixture to a boil. If you want a smooth surface on your cake, apply the icing while it is hot. If applied chilled, the surface will be rough.

Step 2

To make icing sugar, you need icing sugar. You can buy it ready-made or grind granulated sugar in a coffee grinder or a special mill. Separate the egg white from the yolk and refrigerate. Begin to beat the protein with a whisk or mixer. Gradually, add the icing sugar one tablespoon at a time and continue to beat. Add a few drops of lemon juice and vegetable oil for a glossy glaze. If you want a liquid frosting, add a little water. If it is thicker and more pliable, for example for drawing patterns on the cake, add a little more powdered sugar. For colored glaze, add food coloring.

Step 3

To decorate the cake with crispy icing, combine butter, milk and granulated sugar. First, heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly. Then add heat and boil it for two minutes. After cooling, break the mass with a mixer into small crunchy crumbs and decorate the cake with them.

Lime or lemon icing is used to decorate muffins and cakes. To prepare it, mix the icing sugar with lime or lemon juice until smooth and pour over the finished product.

Step 5

Fruit glaze is made from various fruit juices. Pour sugar or powdered juice with juice, place the container on low heat and stir continuously until completely dissolved. Add glucose syrup, gelatin, citric acid and optional food coloring. After dissolving the ingredients, add the next portion of the juice and simmer for three minutes. Apply the resulting mixture hot to the cake.
