It is necessary

    • 0.5 kg of potatoes;
    • 0.5 kg of meat (pork or beef)
    • 1 onion;
    • 2 cloves of garlic;
    • 1 large carrot;
    • 1 bell pepper;
    • 1 tomato;
    • adjika;
    • salt
    • spice;
    • sunflower oil.

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the meat into small pieces. If you have chosen beef for the roast, then it is better to pre-marinate it. Chop the onion finely, mix it with the meat. Season with a little salt and pepper. Drizzle with diluted vinegar. Leave in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. This will make the meat softer.

Step 2

Cut the onion and bell pepper into rings, the tomato into small slices. Chop the carrots, finely chop the garlic. Peel the potatoes. Rinse and cut into small pieces. To prevent the potatoes from turning black, cover them with cold water.

Step 3

Heat sunflower oil in a cauldron. Place the meat in it. When it turns white, add the onion. Fry the meat until golden brown. Make sure nothing is burnt.

Step 4

Combine meat with tomatoes, bell peppers and carrots. Add a little adjika - if you don't like too spicy, a third of a teaspoon will suffice. Salt so the vegetables juice quickly. Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Then send spices and garlic to the cauldron. Mix well.

Step 5

The best spices are black pepper, hazel, cumin and turmeric. You can also take a ready-made mixture of seasonings: "hops-tsuneli", "universal" and the like.

Step 6

Add potatoes to vegetables. Fry it a little in a cauldron, then fill it with warm boiled water. The liquid should barely cover the vegetables. Taste the broth. If there is not enough salt or spices, add them as well.

Step 7

Simmer the roast over low heat with the lid slightly open for 20-25 minutes. As soon as the potatoes become soft and most of the liquid has evaporated, turn off the stove and tightly cover the cauldron with a lid. Let the dish steep for 15-20 minutes and serve.

Step 8

A salad of fresh vegetables, sauerkraut or pickled cucumbers with tomatoes is perfect for a roasted home-style. Bon Appetit!
